Want to sell delicious Fudge?! We are now hiring for the following position:
EVENTS STAFF
Job Description:
- complete set up and breakdown of selling space at indoor and outdoor weekend events
- sell Fudge! Lots of Fudge!!
- manage restocking the table, handling payments, fielding questions from customers, while maintaining a friendly and ENGAGING demeanor
Requirements:
- must have a valid drivers license
- must be willing to drive up to 90 minutes away from our location in Forked River, NJ
- must be able to lift 50-75 lbs
- must be able to pitch an outdoor canopy tent (will train)
- must commit to a minimum of 2 weekend days per month, but can schedule up to 4-5 if preferred
Things to Know:
- 95% of our events are in NJ, with select few in PA. NJ radius ranges with many events 20-45 minutes away, but others up to that 90 minute radius.
- all events take place on the weekends; approx an 8-12 hour work day *including travel time*
- a vehicle will be provided
- gas and tolls are covered by us! (to and from the event from our location in Forked River)
- this is a super fun, but PHYSICAL position
- knowledge of food allergies is not required, but is a plus! (will train on how to answer questions related to this important topic)
- competitive pay with an automatic increase after the training period (training should only last for the first few events)
- bonus pay incentives when you sell more!
