  • ABOUT FUDGE

    • What is Trio Fudge made of?
      • Fudge is made from some pretty basic ingredients - usually chocolate, sugar, butter, salt, marshmallow or corn syrup, and some form of dairy.  From there it’s free reign!  Each flavor will require different ingredients, combinations, and alterations to achieve their individual uniqueness!

    • Does Trio Fudge have chocolate in it?
      • Yes!  All of our Fudge has either a Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, or White Chocolate base.

    • Is Trio Fudge sugar free?
      •  At the moment we do not have a sugar-free option.  This has been requested by some of our customers so in the future we hope to be able to offer this in a variety of flavors!

    • How sweet is Trio Fudge?
      • Fudge is traditionally a sweet treat! However, Trio Fudge does contain less sugar than a typical Fudge recipe calls for.  In addition to this, our dairy ingredient of choice is evaporated milk.  This contains less sugar than condensed milk, and therefore our recipes have greater control over the amount of added sugar.  We are happy to report the consistent feedback is that our Fudge is “less sugary” than most, and doesn’t cause those sharp toothaches when you bite down!

    • Is Trio Fudge gluten free?
      • Some of our flavors do not contain gluten as an ingredient.  However, many do contain gluten and we do not have dedicated equipment for gluten.  Therefore there is a risk of cross-contact with gluten across all flavors.

    • Is Trio Fudge dairy free?
      • All flavors of Trio Fudge currently contain dairy.

    • Is Trio Fudge vegan?
      • At this time Trio Fudge is not vegan due to multiple ingredients.

  • MAKING CHANGES TO ORDERS

    • How can I change the products on my order?
      • Changes can only be made to orders that have not yet shipped.  You will receive an order confirmation email at time of order, and a shipping confirmation email when your order is packed and ready to ship.  Once you receive this shipping confirmation email, orders can not be changed.  Please look over the details of your order prior to placing, and/or after receiving your order confirmation email, so you have time to contact us if you’d like to make any changes.  Sometimes orders are packed immediately, so the quicker you contact us the more likely your order can be edited.

    • How can I change the shipping address on my order?
      • The purchaser is fully responsible for entering a correct shipping address during checkout.  This must be placed in the Shipping Address field, as our shipping labels automatically generate from this field.  Do not enter a shipping address change into the Checkout Notes - this will not connect with our shipping label process.  Changes can only be made to orders that have not yet generated a shipping label.  You will receive an order confirmation email at time of order, and a shipping confirmation email when your order is packed and ready to ship.  Once you receive this shipping confirmation email, orders and shipping addresses can not be changed.  Please look over the details of your order prior to placing, and/or after receiving your order confirmation email, so you have time to contact us if you’d like to make any changes.  Sometimes orders are packed immediately, so the quicker you contact us the more likely your order can be edited.  
      • If you have received a shipping confirmation email, then your shipping label has already been generated / purchased.  (aka - the order is packed and ready to ship OR has already shipped).  If you’d like the shipping address changed, the order will incur a re-ship fee, billed via a separate emailed invoice.  This fee will vary depending on where the package stands in the shipping process.

  • SHIPPING AND RETURNS

    • What is your Shipping Policy?
    • What are the shipping options?
      • All orders ship USPS Priority Mail.  Our current shipping days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  Most orders will ship for a low flat rate fee.  Custom favors, multiple Fudge of the Month Clubs, and select large-scale orders may incur a higher shipping fee.  This will be billed separately via an emailed invoice.

    • When will my order ship?
      • We strive to fill orders ASAP!  Most orders will ship on our next designated “shipping day” - see question above for the most up-to-date schedule.  On occasion a flavor will need to be re-stocked, delaying shipping slightly. 

    • When will I receive my order?
      • Delivery timelines are beyond our control.  Please see our Shipping Policy for the most up-to-date information and expectations.

    • How will my Fudge stay fresh during shipping?
      • Our Fudge does not require refrigeration, and is packaged to withstand shipping.  It will arrive to you in a heat-sealed box.  Unless the package has undergone extenuating circumstances and conditions during the USPS shipping process, the Fudge will arrive edible and delicious, even through severe carrier delays!

    • Do you ship internationally?
      • At this time we can only ship within the United States.

    • What do I do if I never received my order?
      • Please refer to our Shipping Policy for what to do in the event of a delayed or unreceived delivery.

    • Do you accept returns?
    • How can I cancel my order?
      • Orders can not be cancelled once they have been shipped out.  You will receive an order confirmation and a shipping confirmation.   If you wish to cancel an order for any reason, please contact us and we will assess the individual order status.

  • ABOUT OUR PROCESS
    • How fresh is Trio Fudge?
      • FRESH!  You will not see Trio Fudge on the shelves of a supermarket with an expiration date of a year from now.  If you’re ordering our Fudge, you can rest assured that it has been hand-churned, in small batches, by a real person, in the very recent past.  Our Fudge is certainly not mass-produced, there is no machinery involved, and we can safely say we are sending out a high quality, fresh product your way.

    • When do Seasonal flavors come back in stock?
      • We love our Seasonal menu!  It allows us to highlight some of the more obscure flavors, and it makes them that much more special that they are only available at certain times throughout the year.  Although an exact schedule may vary, Fall flavors (Apple Crisp, Pumpkin Pie, etc) tend to make an appearance beginning in September.  Winter/Holiday (Gingerbread, Peppermint Cookie) get added onto the menu usually in November.  Fruit specialities vary the most but can include Blueberry Smoothie, Orange Creamsicle, Key Lime Pie, Pink Lemonade, and others.  These rotate in and out throughout the Spring and Summer months.  We highly recommended adding 1 or 2 of these fun creations to your box when you see them available!  They are delicious and very unique.

    • Do you wholesale?

    • Do you offer custom favors?
      • Yes!  We try to be as creative and open as possible to fit your custom favor needs.  Please visit our Favors page for more info and to view some inspiration.  Contact us to start your custom favors order!  

    • Do you run sales and promotions?
      • Yes!  Throughout the year we run all different sales and promos for our customers.  The best way to be in-the-know is to join our email list, and follow us on our social media pages (@triofudge for both Facebook and Instagram).  Sometimes we’ll offer a discount on specific flavors, sneak peeks into new products, special exclusive packaging, flash sales on Limited Edition boxes, and more!  To get on our email list, scroll to the bottom of any page on the website, enter your email and hit the Subscribe button!

    • What makes Trio Fudge different?
      • We get this question often, and time after time once customers taste our Fudge we get the same consistent feedback - Trio Fudge is nice and light, and not as sweet as typical fudge. Our Fudge is made to be not as dense and heavy as most fudge recipes.  This is great news because it means your belly can handle more deliciousness! This is mostly due to significantly less butter in each batch. The sweetness factor is due to less sugar as well.  Now, we're not going to try to tell you our Fudge is the healthiest snack choice or low in sugar - it's Fudge! It is definitely a sweet treat. However, Trio Fudge is for sure lower on the sugar scale than most - it doesn't leave that toothache feeling in your mouth after a bite! Lastly, we strive to be outside-the-box with some of our off the wall and fun flavors! It's not every day you see Blueberry Smoothie Fudge!

    • Where are you located?
      • This is another fan-favorite question! At this time we do not operate a physical retail store.  We bake in a commercial kitchen in Waretown, NJ (Ocean County), and have a variety of ways to make our Fudge available to you! We attend markets and festivals throughout New Jersey (with a focus on Monmouth and Ocean counties but we do venture farther away!). We have our Fudge available right here online 24/7 to ship anywhere in the US, and we wholesale as well - so you might see Trio Fudge pop up in your local market or bakery!

    • What is the story of how Trio Fudge began?
      • Jaime is our CEB - Chief Executive Baker (among many other things!)  She started making Fudge in college, almost a decade and a half ago, after a friend shared her grandmother’s passed down recipe.  Although that initial recipe has undergone many updates and iterations, we are thankful for that seedling that ultimately started Trio Fudge many years ago!  During the holiday season of 2017, Jaime, her husband Pete, and brother Jesse decided to start a Fudge business (hence the name Trio, wink wink).  After months of testing, tasting, and re-testing, Trio Fudge was officially in business by summer of 2018.  Along the way we have made a number of changes, some big (Allergy-Friendly!), some small (Mini Packs!), but all with the vision of sharing our delicious and creative treats with a greater community. 

    • What are your favorite flavors?
      • Jaime - hands down, Mocha Coconut, and my favorite newer addition is Chocolate Raspberry
